T/Balewa Youth Group Rallied in support of Gung Zaar (select)

The Zaar Youth Development Association (ZAYODA) T/Balewa Branch, under the leadership of Comr. Iliya Emmanuel has successfully organized and carry out a mass rally on Sunday at the Central Primary School T/Balewa in support of Rtd. Air Commodore Ishaku Komo as the Gung Zaar (select) of the Zaar Chiefdom.

The rally which was themed by the organizers "Be Involved and Say The Truth" is said to be a peaceful movement to reaffirm the support of the youths to  Rtd. Air Commodore Ishaku Komo as the Gung Zaar (select) of the chiefdom and also to call on the Governor of Bauchi State Sen. Bala Mohammed to give Him the Staff of Office.

The event was appreciated by a remarkable number of supporters, prominent among which include; Traditional Rulers, Sarkin Yaran Sayawa, Gught Yalth, ZDA T/Balewa Branch, ZAYODA National and Branches etc.

The supporters were seen carrying banners with different inscription thus; "He is our Symbol of Unity" "He is the man after our dear hearts" "we stand with Ishaku Komo as our GungZaar" etc.

Commentary; GungZaar is the chieftaincy title of the Zaar (sayawa) chiefdom and Rtd. Air Commodore Ishaku Komo is the GungZaar selected in 2010 who is yet to receive Staff of Office from the Bauchi State Government.
