Open Letter to Gov. Bala Mohammed by Comr. J. E. Rica

In line with the decision of the Zaar (Sayawa) Community, taken on the 16th February, 2020 during a rally in Tafawa Balewa.

I wish to let the Governor of Bauchi State His Excellency Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammad (Kauran Bauchi) know that the entire Zaar community are aware of the secret meeting organized by some few individuals disguising under ZDA and Balgham Gonto to meet U for their personal interest.

Any meeting on behalf of Sayawa people must involve the following institutions/ persons:

1. Air Commodore Ishaku Komo Rtd. The Gung Zaar (select)

2. ZAYODA leader Comrade Gaallah Daniel.

3. Women leader.

For any gathering or decision taken in the absence of these authorities, does not represent the interest of Zaar (Sayawa) people. It is in view of the above that we are calling on the governor to kindly treat these fellow at their personal names but not as the Sayawa community.

We know that the Governor is a peace loving governor therefore he should discourage any attempt to disrupt the peace he has bestowed upon the state.

Finally His Excellency Sir, I want You to know that the Zaar (Sayawa) community are with You even beyond 2023. We stood by You and now we are asking You to stand by us by doing justice to Zaar community.

Our wish and positions as people is to crown Air commodore Ishaku Komo Rtd. As the Gung Zaar and no other person. For we have already selected Ishaku Komo over 10 years ago and there was never objections, either personally or legally. So we plead with your good office to disregard any suggestion or agitation for new process as such is unacceptable by the entire community.

Long live Bauchi State, 

Long live Federal republic of Nigeria.
