Sayawa Leaders visit to Gov. Bala Mohammed
The National President of Zaar Development Association (ZDA) in person of Engr. Isuwa Galla has led a delegation of Zaar (Sayawa) leaders to the government house in respect to a meeting which held on Sunday with Sen. Bala Mohammed the executive governor of Bauchi State.
The visit is said to congratulate him for his final victory at the supreme court, to recognize with his rapid developmental projects in the state, thank him for his inclusive government in the state and for giving the Sayawa people an absolute sense of belonging in the affairs of the state.
The ZDA President also point out some of the challenges faced by the Sayawa community in recent times which include;
- Marginalization
- Crisis
- Under employment and lack of empowerment
- Abandoned projects of Hon. Yakubu Dogara by the state government
A historic group called "Zauren Baba Gonto" present in the meeting also pleaded with the governor to recognize the ancient struggle of the sayawa community to have a chiefdom and bring it to actualization.
In his response the governor acknowledged the need for such development and for peace in the area in respect to the recently constructed institution and more in the area, and said will constitute a committee in such regard.
The governor also urge the sayawa community to remain law abiding citizens and also to join hands with other minority tribes in the region to have a stronger traditional structure.

Hassana Arkila executive chairperson of BASOVCA, Barr. Kefas Magaji; CTC T/Balewa LGA, Hon. Iliya Habila; CTC Bogoro LGA, Gung Nuhu Tafida; village head of bogoro, Professor Simon M. Yalams, Professor Maisamari, Professor Barau Singiri.
