RBLB Authority Compensates People Affected by the Construction of Dam in Bogoro LGA

RIVER BENUE LOWER BASIN AUTHORITY COMPENSATE PEOPLE WHOSE LAND WERE USED FOR CONSTRUCTION OF DAM IN GWARANGAH VILLAGE OF BOGORO LGA 

On Thursday, 4th March 2020 , the chairman Bogoro LG Hon Iliya Habila , received the management of River Benue Lower Basin Authority, in his office at the Bogoro Local Government Secretariat.

Speaking on behalf of the river Benue lower basin authority management , the MD expressed his delight on the good relationship they've enjoyed . And further said , they were in Bogoro to compensate those whose land were used to construct the dam in Gwarangah . 

He again , commended the people of the community , for the ceaseless support they offered in ensuring the success of the work and also pray that the need of the community should be met by construction of the dam .

Responding , the chairman said he was happy for the visit and the visit came timely . As there are few concern recently from the people whose land were use for the construction of the dam , he thanked them for complying to contractual terms , and the quality work they offered . 

The chairman further said , he pray more of projects they handle would still be awarded to Bogoro LGA .
