Why Bauchi Chief Of Staff Kari Quit Office

Chief of Staff, Bauchi State Government House, Abubakar Kari has resigned from office just as the State Governor, Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad has approved the voluntary resignation which many had long foreseen considering the frosty relationship between the two recently.
The Governor thanked him for the selfless service he rendered during his tenure as Chief of Staff and wished him Allah’s guidance in his future endeavours.
Accordingly, the Governor has also approved with immediate effect, the appointment of Dr. LadanSalihu who was Commissioner of Information and Communication before now as the New Chief of Staff, Government House.
This was contained in a release signed by the Secretary to Bauchi State Government (SSG) Sabiu Muhammad Baba a copy of which was made available to The Triumph.
Kari, a close ally of the Governor, played a key role in the last general elections which saw to the overwhelming votes cast for the PDP gubernatorial candidate.
Though no official reason was given for the latest political development, feelers have it there has been a political misunderstanding between the two late last year which was said to have led to Abubakar Kari eschewing himself from office.
It was said that eminent people in the State intervened and made peace between them leading to his resuming office only for him to have resigned from office.
