Bala Mohammed to Provide Dividend of Democracy to the Citizen of the State

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed says his administration is working in synergy with development patners to provide dividends of democracy to the citizens of the state.

The Governor disclosed this when received in audience, members of the Project Management Committee of the SDG's projects who visited him at the Government House Bauchi.

The Governor said for him to justify the confidence reposed in him by the electorate, the need for him to work with critical stakeholders became necessary.

He pledged to give the committee the required support to enable the state benefit from the SDG's projects beneficial to the people especially the rural dwellers.

Governor Bala Mohammed appealed to the committee to ensure justice in the distribution of the projects as when implemented, the projects would go along way towards poverty reduction, addressing decay in Health and Education.

The Governor therefore used the medium to applaud President Muhammadu Buhari for coming up with laudable policies aimed at tackling the current challenges facing the country.

Earlier, the leader of the team, Dr Mohammed Albashir said the committee was constituted under the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on SDG's with a view to work with stakeholders for effective implementation of the projects.

Dr Mohammed Albashir assured the governor of the support of the committee to his administration in order to overcome some of challenges affecting critical sectors of the economy in the state.
