Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammad today sworn in Professor Adamu Ahmed as the State Commissioner, Ministry of Lands and Survey.
Speaking at the occasion at the Council Chamber, Government House Bauchi, the governor tasked him to ensure the full implementation of the State's Master Plan.
The Governor who said the state was under developed in the area of urban development, expressed confidence that when implemented, the master plan would ensure the advancement of the state.
According to him, the sworn in Commissioner has the required knowledge that can assist his administration to modernize the state because of his expertise in urban planning.
While welcoming Professor Adamu Ahmed to the State Executive Council, Governor Bala Mohammed said Ministries, Departments and Agencies would be restructured to ensure effective service delivery.
In his acceptance speech, the sworn in Commissioner, Professor Adamu Ahmed reaffirmed his commitment to the services of the state and support and cooperation to the governor.
Professor Adamu Ahmed pledged to come up with modern urban framework to enable the state be in the forefront of urban development.
